    Tahini Sauce

Tahini sauce is a simple accompaniment that you can use in a myriad of dishes from pasta, to a topping on vegetables or as a dipping sauce.  It has a delicious earthy-garlicky flavor that can sometimes be overpowering if you use too much of it.

Here are the simple ingredients in this recipe:

    • Tahini – ground raw or toasted sesame seeds.
    • Garlic – I prefer to use two finely minced cloves, but you can use more.
    • Lemon Juice – This brings so much needed acid into the recipe for flavor and to cut back on the bite from the raw garlic.
    • Cumin – so more earthy tones to help round out the sauce.
    • Salt – This is a necessity to making sure the sauce is flavorful.
    • Water – You must use a bit of water to help thin out the sauce.

    How to Make It

Follow these simple instructions for making this tasty sauce:

    1. Add the tahini to a bowl along with some finely minced garlic, lemon juice, cumin, and sea salt.

    1. Using a whisk mix together the ingredients while slowly drizzling as much water in as needed to help thin out the sauce.
