BPMVC Studios
Well, folks, it’s been a long time comin’. I’m officially into my new studio and am LOVING IT! First off a huge thanks to all of you guys because without all of your follows, likes, comments, shares, etc. then companies wouldn’t work with me.
It is because of YOU that I am able to make a living and I promise I will never forget that. Also a huge thanks to my builders Tom, Paul, Carl, Renee, Mr. Wright, Chris and Dukie for making this place look so dope. I, of course, did what I could to help build this thing out but man I’m not sure fabrication, rehab, and construction are for me. I’m more a vision guy haha. Also a gigantic thank you to my wife for decorating and always putting up with me. Lastly, thanks to mom and dad in law for this place because without you this was not possible. Thanks to my mom and dad for the support and for coming up last minute to get the studio up and running! Ok, now onto the fun stuff!
So I got the keys to this place back in early August and from there it was all gung-ho until it was finished. It was essentially this 1650 square foot box that needed to be built out. I needed an office, a kitchen, shelving, a lounging area, a huge table to eat at, and oh yeah a bathroom door :-).
I wanted this place to kind of have an industrial farmhouse look and I think I was able to capture that through the tall exposed ceilings, cement floor and then with the dark reclaimed woods and furniture.
I wanted to build this place out so that people could rent it to throw small parties like a small wedding shower, baby shower, graduation, pop up dinner, cooking demo’s, I mean honestly whatever people want. With that being said I wanted it to feel really homey and super comfortable and I think that’s what I ended up with.
On one side of the studio is a super chill lounge area with a TV and tons of super loud crystal clear blue tooth speakers, and then on the other side is a beautiful kitchen decked out with navy blue cabinets, white quartz, subway tiles, Kitchenaid Appliances, and a gorgeous Franke chef center sink, faucet, pot filler, and garbage disposal.
The light, oh man the light! The soft lighting due to the super huge windows that are covered in a very thing sheer curtain gives off the most beautiful soft light ever making this place absolutely ideal for shooting pictures and videos. Sure I’ve got tons of lights but there is no need at all. Food always looks best under soft daylight, period.
One thing I for sure wanted to add in was a super huge farmhouse style table so that I could do some experiential type stuff as well as rent this place out to any chefs that want to do some pop-up dinners and feed some folks. The table is seriously so sick!
In addition to me shooting food in this place for clients I work with, or for my blog, I hope this place gets used a ton by fellow food bloggers, agencies, pr firms, and just any old folks that want to use it.
Well, that’s all I got thanks so much for stopping in and I hope you dig all the pics. You can learn more about the studio at BPMVC.com.

Hi! Love your recipes, wish we lived closer to Chicago….you might want to visit us on the “West Coast” of WI (actually PEPIN, WI) we have award winning 5* restaurant here (Harbor View Cafe) and the incredible Villa Bellezza winery amongst beautiful, no incredible scenery for your eye palette.
But the true reason I’m writing is to say you have a broken link on your “family-owned factory” …it sounded interesting, but took me no-where.
Chicago isn’t far from PEPIN (350 miles) we are beautiful all year long, although a bit drenched this summer! I’ll keep reading and watching you!
The place looks fantastic! If I lived nearby it would be great to visit. Have you ever thought of offering classes? I love to take cooking classes to increase my repritoire. One of my favorites was to make biscuits and scones! That simple, yet baking is an art.
I have not. Thanks for taking a look.
I tried so many recipes of yours and I’m very happy with them and very proud and excited to
many thanks!
I tried so many recipes of yours and I’m very happy with them and very proud and excited to learn from your techniques. Thank you so much for everything you taught me 😍
This is just stunning! Love the blue and comfy, clean farmhouse feel!
That’s the old one 😉
Thank you for all of your great vids!
I have learned so much, and I love your clear, no nonsense style. Unbelievably, I had never made pasta sauce, until I watched you. Geez! It’s not so scary to make after all, and way more delicious!
Thanks Chef Billy!
What a beautiful work place! I’ve so enjoyed your web site. You have such a pleasant, up beat personality that makes me want to just watch you cook! You’ve made your recipes easy to find & it’s exciting to find that special recipe that looks absolutely delicious, that I just have to try! I haven’t made anything with yeast in awhile, so decided to try your Focaccia. Wow! That is delicious! & addictive too. So thankful I had rest of family to share it with! Now when I try one of your recipes, they say “Mom’s cooking fancy tonight!” You ‘re very convincing as you describe a dish completely. It just flows & looks so doable that it makes me want to try dishes I’ve never cooked before. Thank you for bringing fun back to cooking rather than just putting a meal on the table. Looking forward to trying many more recipes for my family!
Chef Parisi – your studio is fabulous! Congrats and I am a huge fan and what do you call us Commis?! Which is so true – I just love watching your videos and I have learned so much from them. I am not a youngster; my mother was a very basic cook, meat and potato, my father used to say “Margaret, you’re not the best but the fastest”. During the Pandemic as many others I am sure did I cooked a lot and tried new recipes, 99% of them were yours. My family loves the Lasagna Bolognese, the Mac and Cheese is to die for and the homemade pasta, needless to say I have gained the COVID19 right in the midsection. I passed your name and sites to everyone I know to find great recipes and learn a lot about cooking and making it from scratch. Keep it coming!
Thank you
Hi
I really like your videos on FB. You are a GREAT teacher – systematic, precise, encouraging and concise. I appreciate your instructions about knife skills. That is an area I am lazy about. Hope your work is satisfying and gives you joy.
Love you Chef and watch your posts all the time. I thought you were in AZ and excited to find out you’re in a suburb of Chicago as I live in the western suburbs Downers Grove/OakBrook area myself!!
You need to open a restaurant or give cooking lessons around here!! Thanks for all your tips, you’re the best!!
OMG! You are the best! I tell my wife looking at your channel makes me want to cook all your recipes and I don’t like being in the kitchen. You make me want to sign up for culinary school. Please keep up the awesome work that you do. You need to have several restaurants, especially here in NYC. Thank you so much.
I am a new subscriber and enjoy all your cooking videos. Your videos are very informative and whoever is your camera/video person, they do a fantastic job. I just ordered a knife set after watching your “Top Kitchen Tool Essentials for every home cook”. I need to start to up my game. Thanks.
I shoot everything, thank you!
Billy I love your style and approach to anything related to food and cooking. Do you have a cookbook out that’s available to the general public?
Thank you kindly, but no I don’t have a cookbook at this time.
So beautiful.
So f-ing COOL! Wish I lived nearby to cook it up with you!
Thanks bro, next time you are in we are going to be gluttens!
Chef your new studio is absolutely stunning! It feels serene, luxurious and comfortable all at the same time. And the light is perfection. Congratulations and I wish you HUGE success!
