Hi! My husband is the cook in our house and I was wanting to know what types of knives you use as he is looking to upgrade. Thanks!
Hi Chef, do you ever use a grill pan on the stove top? If so, what type (cast iron, non stick, etc. and which brand do you use? Thank you.
I don’t as I have a blackstone. I just use cast iron skillet on the stovetop.
Chef, when do U anticipate your new kitchen to be complete and moved on? Hello from Louisiana
Hopefully, end of August-Mid-September!
Hey Chef, can you update this list with the mandolin and peeler you use?
done
Gotta love a great garlic press!!
Do you use a kitchen scale to measure dry ingredients?
a gram scale yes
Thank you for sharing your incredible knowledge. One question – the rondeau pot you show the link to is a non-stick pan. I hate them. The one you use in the French Onion Soup and the Chicken Noodle Soup videos is NOT a non-stick. Can you tell me what brand and what size it is? I’ve looked on every site I know and can’t find one like it. Thanks so much.
did you click on the 12″ version?
what is the fine strainer that you use for sauces?
a chinois
Who makes your chinois and can you strain any food product or just thicker sauces ( can it be used as a general strainer —also how do you clean it?? Thanks!! I love your genuine realness and enjoy being ‘my friends’
I’m not sure, it’s just from a local restaurant depot type of store. All of them are pretty similar and great to use as a strainer.
Chef, do you use an immersion blender? If so, which one do you prefer. Thank you so much I learn more and more everyday watching you
I do, but I like the industrial stuff like waring.
Thanks chef
Hi Billy,
I have made your lasagna recipe twice now! Including making my own pasta noodles!! But I don’t have the correct size pan. The first pan I used was a Pyrex glass baking pan. It was too short, not high enough on the sides. The second time I made it I used my roasting pan. The sides were high enough but the pan was too large. What size, brand pan do you use in the video?
Thanks,
Doug Bereczki
This is the one that I use, this is an affiliate link which allows me to make a few bucks on the sale: https://amzn.to/2Mt4Wjc
